I’ve worked in adaptive sensor data processing, computer vision, and machine learning “at the edge” in a wide variety of applications (acoustic, radar, EO/IR, hyperspectral, Multi-INT), and across the system lifecycle (modeling & sim, proposal, concept development, prototype, development, production)
- Specifying & building “lopsided” prototypes (custom software on COTS hardware) to highlight key mission threads or to explore & retire key risks early
- Architecting & developing C++ and Python applications and infrastructure
- Enabling teams of experts – implementing, tailoring and championing processes (e.g. Agile, DevOps) and tools (e.g. containerization, CI/CD) throughout the system lifecycle to manage cross-functional teams where work is not fungible
- Mentoring early-career engineers, and growing teams of SME’s
- Sweating the details of interfaces and software architecture
